Project overview
This extensive regeneration scheme is a joint venture partnership between house builder The Hill Group and charitable housing association L&Q. The scheme delivers 441 much-needed homes for the area.
Work undertaken
NSP was appointed to carry out early-stage building design works and legal product guidance / selection – inclusive of CFD modelling.
Following the completion of the early-stage building design, NSP completed the design and installation of a VentGuard smoke control and ventilation solution for the site.
This included a car park ventilation system and smoke ventilation featuring: 5No. Mechanical push/pull blocks with over 135No. Damper locations and 11No. Main Extract fan units located at roof level – alongside a specific comfort ventilation strategy design by NSP.
NSP developed a bespoke multi-zone control system approach to push/pull ventilation with comfort controls for this site and continue to develop new systems to keep up to the minute with the ever-changing smoke ventilation industry.
