Project overview
Audley Ellerslie retirement village has 101 properties set against the backdrop of the Worcestershire countryside, in the town of Malvern. Three grand Victorian mansions, including a Grade II listed building, form the centrepiece of the village.

AOV Smoke Ventilation
In keeping with the historic stature of the building, NSP was employed to provide smoke dampers with a specialist architectural grillage, roof ventilators and VentGuard control panels to manage the smoke extraction.
The building was provided with natural smoke egress routes within each protected lobby area, complete with 72 hour back up control panel and firefighters override switch. The stair-core was protected via a 1m2 roof ventilator with complete access for control by the attending firefighter from the lowest to the highest floor.
