The Contracts Coordinator will play a vital role in driving and supporting the Project Management team by ensuring the smooth execution of project activities through exceptional organisational and office-based activities. This position is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication, multi-tasking skills, and strong organisational qualities who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Site management of assigned projects including full ownership and responsibility through to project completion
  • Adoption and full detailed review of the project from the design department, absorbing and taking over technical implementation and continued development of the project
  • Assist the Contract Coordination Team to develop project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Assess project requirements and ensure alignment with client specifications and regulatory standards
  • Liaise with clients, engineers and stakeholders to define project objectives throughout project lifecycle whilst developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of smoke ventilation systems, ensuring compliance with designs and safety standards
  • Monitor project progress, adjusting schedules and resources as necessary to meet milestones, taking into account contractual obligations
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Manage cross-functional teams, including site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Provide clear direction and maintain regular communication with all stakeholders, including instruction of procurement requirements to allow Purchase Orders to be raised

Key experience / Qualifications:

  • Ideally 2 years construction or site experience
  • Proven track record as a Project Manager
  • Located within commuting distance to NSP HQ in Kidderminster; role is hybrid/office based with frequent site visits
  • Full UK Driving License
  • May involve working outside regular business hours to meet project deadlines

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven experience in project management within smoke ventilation, HVAC, or related industries
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication interpersonal skills, capable of motivating teams and building client relationships
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address project challenges
  • Ability to read drawings and plan approach to project to completion
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm
