Our responsibilities

NSP is committed to delivering effective solutions to existing and new customers responding positively to their needs and understanding the longer term requirements that help keep people and properties safe. This is a key responsibility to our work ethics and drives us to continually improve our products and services.

Employee commitments

We are committed to providing our employees with a safe, fair and happy workplace. Directors and managers have an open door policy to encourage communication with all employees, assuring that their ideas and concerns are listened to. This encourages a highly engaged workforce. The health and safety of our workforce is paramount, with many training courses available to all employees. Our excellent health and safety record reflects this commitment. There are many other opportunities for employees to enhance their careers with technical, colleges and university courses.

How we help

You can grow in an inclusive, diverse and collaborative environment, committed to supporting local communities.

In the community

We work closely with local universities, colleges, training providers and schools, offering work experience and apprenticeship programmes in engineering, administration, accounts, CAD, repairs and bench assemblers. We recognise the need to provide career opportunities to students in the community. We support many charitable and fundraising events, recently sponsoring the local community's Young Sports Person of the Year awards.

Environment

We understand the environmental impact of our business and the ways in which these should be managed and minimised. We continually look at ways to improve our fleet of vehicles by reducing emission levels and introducing eco vehicles. Wherever possible, the waste produced is kept to a minimum with items being reused and recycled. We are registered with local agencies in compliance with regulatory requirements. Environmental considerations are integrated into investment decisions, the design of products, services provided, by suppliers and with sub-contractors. All employees and sub-contractors are required to follow the implementation of our Environmental Policy.
